Vice Chancellor
The Vice Chancellor serves as the primary executive officer of Agriculture and Forestry University.
The appointment is made by the Chancellor, the Right Honourable Prime Minister of Nepal, upon the
recommendation of a specially constituted committee.
Operating from the university, the Vice Chancellor oversees the academic, administrative, and
financial affairs of the institution while actively supporting its overall development and activities.
The role includes ensuring the effective fulfilment of the university’s mission, objectives, and
institutional responsibilities.
As the chief executive authority, the Vice Chancellor is empowered to approve the policies, rules,
and regulations of the university.
