Biplov Oli is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Soil Science and Agri-engineering at Agriculture and Forestry University, Nepal. He holds a Master of Science in Soil Science from Agriculture and Forestry University and a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science, Nepal. He is currently pursuing his PhD in the Department of Earth and Environment at Florida International University in Miami, Florida, USA.

His academic and professional interests include precision agriculture, GIS, remote sensing, soil fertility mapping, land capability classification, soil survey, carbon sequestration, sustainable soil management, and nutrient management. Before joining Agriculture and Forestry University as an Assistant Professor, he served as an Assistant Lecturer at Purbanchal University in Gothgaun, Morang, and worked as a District Agriculture Officer at the Multipurpose Development Society in Dadeldhura, contributing to agricultural extension, training, and community-based development programs in Nepal.

Mr. Oli has experience in teaching, research, and extension and has been involved in land-use planning, watershed management, and agricultural sustainability initiatives. He has contributed to several research publications on soil health, biochar, soil erosion, soil fertility mapping, and crop nutrient management.
