Faculty Profile

Chiran Adhikari has been an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Agriculture, Agriculture and Forestry University (AFU), Nepal, since 2021. He completed his MScAg in Entomology in 2016 and is currently pursuing a PhD at AFU. His research focuses on sustainable insect pest management in field crops, particularly insect ecology, crop protection, and beneficial insect biodiversity. Alongside research, he teaches entomology courses and mentors students in agricultural sciences. His work aims to promote environmentally friendly pest management and support sustainable agriculture and food security in Nepal.
