Dr. Krishna Hari Dhakal is a Nepali agricultural scientist and academic specializing in genetics, plant breeding, and biotechnology. He is currently an **Associate Professor at the Faculty of Agriculture, Agriculture and Forestry University in Chitwan, where he teaches undergraduate, master’s, and PhD students and supervises research in crop improvement.

He obtained his PhD and MS in Plant Breeding from Kyungpook National University, South Korea, and his **BSc and ISc in Agriculture from Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science under Tribhuvan University, Nepal. His research mainly focuses on crop genetics, soybean and maize breeding, genetic diversity analysis, and development of improved crop varieties.

Dr. Dhakal has extensive international research experience, including work as a postdoctoral researcher and research associate in South Korea, where he contributed to soybean improvement and germplasm evaluation. He has published more than 50 scientific papers in national and international journals and has been actively involved in research projects, consultancy, and academic training.

Through his teaching, research, and professional service, Dr. Dhakal has made significant contributions to agricultural research, crop improvement, and higher education in Nepal.
